Copilot in Viva Engage

Overnight Microsoft announced the launch of Copilot in Microsoft Viva, along with the introduction of Viva Glint, to boost workforce engagement and performance.

Viva is Microsoft’s employee experience platform that brings together goals, employee communications, learning, workplace analytics and feedback. Building on last month’s announcement ofMicrosoft 365 Copilot to help individuals be more productive, the extension of Copilot to Microsoft Viva takes advantage of next-generation AI to accelerate the new performance equation, where engagement and productivity together lead to business success. Copilot will be introduced in Viva GoalsViva EngageViva LearningViva Topics, and more. Microsoft also introduced the new Viva Glint, a survey tool to measure and improve employee engagement.

Copilot in Viva works alongside leaders to offer them an entirely new way of understanding and engaging their workforce, with AI that serves as a force multiplier, amplifying human ingenuity and allowing employees to stay energized and focused on the work that matters most.

In conjunction with the launch, Microsoft has also released a new Work Trend Index Special Report that demonstrates why employee engagement matters to the bottom line and how AI can help. To understand the business impact of engagement and what drives it Microsoft surveyed more than three million employees at over 200 companies across industries and looked at the combined stock price movement of these companies throughout 2022.
